The sounds of joy were heard throughout Fogarty Elementary School on December 4 as volunteers from Hasbro donated more than 100 games to the school and played Twister, Jenga, Hungry Hippos, and Connect4 with the children in each classroom. Guest readers shared holiday stories while volunteers also painted the new school mural, located in the first floor hallway, incorporating the school pledge and theme of stars.

Hasbro’s Global Day of Joy, held for the second consecutive year, empowers 5,100 of the toy company’s employees in 33 countries around the world to engage in community service projects that help bring joy to children during the holiday season. Hasbro, whose global headquarters are in Rhode Island, organized more than 140 community service projects worldwide, including 90 in the United States, during the Global Day of Joy.
