Health & Wellness Committee seeking teacher, parent and student input

The Providence Public Schools Health & Wellness Committee meets regularly and welcomes new members. The committee is currently seeking parent, student and teacher representation.

In 2005, the RI General Assembly passed a law requiring the establishment of a School District Wellness Committee as a subcommittee of the full School Board. In November of 2013, the

Providence School Board adopted a new PPSD Wellness Policy, which adheres to all updated federal, state and local requirements.
